Again, I may have placed this puzzle in the wrong time frame. The wooden frame and cardboard box is somewhat unique in that it has a paper hinge. This puzzle is made from solid wood, about 1/8 of an inch thick and has a paper backing. The bear is a pretty good representation, but the leopard suffers from the anthropomorphism that seems to have infected so many artists of that time.
