As I completed this puzzle, I was so disappointed to find that there were missing pieces that I decided that I would learn how to make replacements. I bought my first scrollsaw the next weekend. I'm still practicing on making replacements. When I get good enough, I'll restore this puzzle.

  Notice the straight edges and corners on the inside of the puzzle. This was also a first for me and the puzzle seemed to consist entirely of straight edges. The Indian maid is color-cut and almost forms a complete image without the background.
