A Raise in the South ??? I had no idea what to expect. This puzzle is a piece of folk art. The board is rough hewn and varies its thickness across its length. What I thought to be wrinkles in the paper turn out to be rough spots on the wood. The picture has a crease or seam right down the center. Add up all of its flaws and I think I have something special. Two pieces shown here are replacements and there is more work to be done. The oval spot near the man standing in the center is paper loss.
