These three tiny treasures came in a small wooden box shaped like a trunk or treasure chest. My guess is that they were rewards for good behavior, attendance or diligence at Sunday School. These were cherished by someone and they kept them in their special box for a long time, perhaps for their lifetime. I don't know how or why they came to be sold. I even like the antique paperclip that holds one of the envelopes closed.
