This is one of only a few of the McLoughlin Bros puzzles that I have that does not show a copyright date. Perhaps this one should dated in the previous decade. The wood frame and cardboard box is more elaborate than most. Instead of the usual simple printed pattern on the sides of the box, there are boating scenes.
I don't know who made the replacement piece, but it is reasonably well done.
